PRODUCTION
The operational heart of Comesa: every phase, managed from start to finish.
Comesa sources materials from certified and tested European Community suppliers. A fleet of machines updated with continuous technological evolution allows processing up to Ø 1,000 mm and 12,000 mm in length, with grinding as the real strong point of the entire production cycle.

Raw material
Comesa sources materials (solid rounds with Ø from 10 to 1,000 mm) from certified and tested European Community suppliers. The large warehouse capacity allows the storage of more than 1000 tons of steel.

Cut
The cutting of the raw material is carried out in an entirely dedicated area, equipped to optimize the management of the diameters used, using semi-automatic band saws/cutters with high speed and cutting precision.

Turning
Equipped with a fleet of machines updated to continuously evolve in technology, Comesa carries out turning operations using a battery of conventional and numerically controlled parallel lathes, capable of guaranteeing processing up to Ø 1,000 mm and a length of 12,000 mm.

Heat Treatment
The heat treatment is carried out by certified suppliers and tested for over 20 years of partnership. The main treatments used are induction hardening, total hardening, carburizing and nitriding.

Correction
Grinding is the real strong point of Comesa's processes: a battery of grinders on the centres, which work in 2 shifts, capable of managing up to diameters of 1,000 mm and lengths of 8,000 mm allows tolerances to be achieved within a few microns.

Chrome plating / Polishing
Chrome plating and possible polishing of the pieces, with the possibility of obtaining a surface finish with roughness Ra ≤ 0.05 µm.

Marking
To guarantee the traceability of the products, Comesa carries out a marking with a punch or acid indicating its company brand, the year of manufacture of the piece and the internal order number, for total traceability.

Packaging
The standard packaging consists of a custom-made wooden crate, while on request special packaging with protective agents suitable for preservation for long periods and/or transport is prepared.

Quality
A production cycle is developed for each particular product which certifies each phase of processing. The testing department is equipped to carry out the required dimensional, destructive or non-destructive checks.

Continuous Assistance
The Comesa product is delivered with the certainty of receiving, during and after commissioning, the timely and continuous support of the long-term technical-commercial team.
